Leading Across Two Worlds

Few leaders have successfully navigated executive leadership in both corporate and creative environments. Robin's unique career reflects a lifelong commitment to building organizations, developing leaders, inspiring audiences, and creating programs that strengthen communities through education, innovation, and the arts.

Leading With Vision and Innovation

Today, as Founder and CEO of Follman Arts Consulting, Robin brings together decades of executive leadership, entrepreneurial experience, artistic excellence, educational innovation, and emerging technologies to help organizations transform vision into meaningful and measurable impact.

A Career Built on Leadership

Robin's professional journey has never followed a traditional path—and that is precisely what makes her perspective unique. Throughout her career, she has served as a corporate CEO, international performing artist, arts administrator, educator, producer, entrepreneur, nonprofit executive, board leader, and community advocate.

A Philosophy of Purposeful Leadership

Each role has contributed to a leadership philosophy rooted in collaboration, innovation, service, and the belief that organizations exist to improve the lives of others. Whether leading a manufacturing company, directing an arts conservatory, producing a theatrical production, or designing educational initiatives, Robin approaches every challenge with the same guiding principle: Leadership is about creating opportunities for others to succeed.

Executive Leadership & Business

Robin serves as President and CEO of both R.A. Industries, Inc. and Markall Inc., respected precision manufacturing companies serving the aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors. Her executive leadership has encompassed strategic planning, organizational development, workforce leadership, operations, customer engagement, business growth, and long-term organizational planning.

Excellence Built Through Leadership

Leading companies in highly technical and regulated industries provided Robin with a deep appreciation for operational excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement—principles that continue to influence every consulting engagement. Her business leadership has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Orange County Business Journal Women in Business Award and the National Security Alliance Women in Defense Service to the Flag Award, recognizing her contributions to leadership and America's defense industrial base.

International Performing Artist

Alongside her executive career, Robin has built an internationally acclaimed career as a dramatic soprano. She has performed leading operatic roles with major opera companies, symphony orchestras, and festivals throughout North America and Asia, earning recognition for both artistic excellence and dramatic interpretation.

The Transformative Power of the Arts

Her experience as a professional performer has shaped her understanding of leadership, collaboration, communication, discipline, and creative problem-solving—qualities that continue to inform her work as a consultant, educator, and producer. Robin believes the performing arts are among society's most powerful tools for education, storytelling, and community engagement.

Producer & Creative Leader

Robin has served as executive producer, artistic producer, and creative leader for a diverse range of theatrical productions, concerts, educational initiatives, professional vocal and orchestral recordings, fundraising events, and civic programs. Her producing experience extends from concept development through implementation, bringing together strategic planning, budgeting, artistic vision, team leadership, sponsorship development, marketing, and community partnerships.

The Stage for Civic Learning

Current projects include Remember the Ladies, a one-woman theatrical production celebrating the women whose voices helped shape the founding of America, and Convention: The Birth of America, an original musical exploring the creation of the United States Constitution through music, storytelling, and civic education. Robin believes the arts have the extraordinary ability to make history, leadership, and civic responsibility accessible to audiences of all ages.

Education has been a defining thread throughout Robin's career. She has served as an educator, mentor, arts administrator, curriculum developer, and educational leader committed to helping students discover both artistic excellence and personal confidence.

  • Every project is an opportunity to create something that matters.
